An Avant-Garde Opera Experience Like No Other.
Final Exam "Per_Xydeon" by Nadine Feida El Shoura, master sound of innovation student. 13/14/15 June at the Performance Factory Enschede
Per_Xydeon is a genre-defying opera that invites audiences on a breathtaking multi-sensory journey—from the beginning points of creation to the edge of human transformation. Here, sound becomes matter, movement becomes language, and technology becomes an extension of the soul. This is not opera as you know it— it is opera reimagined.
We begin in darkness: a formless void where dancers emerge as particles, evolving into organisms and eventually, into beings of flesh and thought. Music swells from silence, unfolding as a living tapestry of classical instruments, guided experimental electronics, holographic visuals, and evocative choreography. It is a universe in motion— timeless, yet timeline-glitching, futuristic, intimate, and vast.
Each act is a portal through cycles of creation, collapse, renewal, and revelation. Through real-time sensory sound manipulation and immersive staging, performers blur the lines between body and machine, self and reflection. Dancers interact with their digital counterparts, musicians shape space with neo-classical sound, fashion becomes the second skin and the audience is swept into a world where everything is connected. A cosmic ritual of becoming light.
Per_Xydeon is visually striking, sonically provocative, and intellectually rich—crafted for those who crave more from art: more mystery, more emotion, more meaning. It transforms the stage into a vessel of alchemical transformation.
If you've never witnessed opera as a living, breathing force—Per_Xydeon is the one you didn't know, you’ve been waiting for.
